Quality Body Works realizes that no matter how good your car looks when it comes out of our shop, first impressions going in are always important. Bolt by Bolt
Quality Body Works insists on everything being done right. So every panel, every part is removed bolt by bolt and replaced just as carefully. Then each bolt is painted to remove any marks made by the wrench. Your vehicle is restored to pre-accident condition. That’s what Quality Body Works delivers.

 

Perfectly Straight

 When we first saw the highly sophisticated Genesis Computerized Electronic Measuring System, we knew we had to have it. This machine is incredibly accurate because it uses the same laser technology used by car manufacturers to ensure perfect frame alignment.

 Basically, our technicians mount little laser targets at certain points on the vehicle body which monitor the structure in real time. Then our technicians consult the data banks in the Genesis Computer, it contains all the manufacturers specs for the vehicle dimensions. Then he ‘trues’ up the car to its original condition.

 

This machine can give you a printout of the measurements. Which is great at the estimating stage. It practically eliminates any unexpected surprises once you’re in the shop. Insurance companies love it, so it means less insurance delays for you. Quality Body Works also has the nifty bar code estimating system. It's updated monthly from a new CD with current prices of original manufactured parts - another cool thing that makes for a totally accurate quote.

 

 

 

Identical Match

There’s nothing worse than a panel of a car that looks like it’s been repainted. Quality Body Works is a stickler for exact paint matches. Our paint technicians mix and test, mix and test, until the paint matches perfectly. On older models, we even go to the effort of matching the oxidization. Like we said, a stickler.

Quality Body Works uses an incredibly high-tech Garmat downdraft paint booth. It features a 100% fresh air during the spray cycle.  During the bake cycle it recycles 80% of the heated air.  It also features a special filtration grid in the floor, all of which contributes to a cleaner environment. It also features a 1,500,000 BTU furnace that bakes the paint finish on the car.

When we replace a panel or a part in your car, we even paint the stuff you don’t see. Like the edges usually hidden by trim, rubber seals and moldings. Quality Body Works gets your car looking like it did when it first came out of the factory. So anyone looking at it can’t ever tell it's been in an accident.

 

Environmental Concerns


 A large part of Quality Body Work's perfectionism involves not leaving a mess behind after the job is done.

That’s why we use waterborne paints that don’t release any VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) into the atmosphere. It’s why our downdraft paint booth uses a water filtration system in the floor. It’s all collected in a sump.

Quality Body Works recycles about 95% of all our paint waste.  We gather it up, distill it on site and reuse it in our paint gun washer. The small hard dried wafer that’s left after processing is disposed of.
